Screenwriter
|
Growing up, Chera Federle and her family moved from place to place quite often. Along the way, she encountered many different types of people and situations that have become the essence of her character driven dramas and romantic comedies. Settling in her home state of Indiana, Chera earned a BFA in Visual Communications from Indiana University/Herron School of Art in 1990. She spent twelve years working as a freelance artist, maintaining a successful client base. During this time, Chera acquired experience in commercial production and print ads. She now focuses her energy toward teaching, screenwriting, and filmmaking. As a guest speaker at IUPUI (Indiana University/Purdue University - Indianapolis) and The Indiana Writer's Center, she has lectured to classes on many topics related to screenwriting. When it comes down to filmmaking, Chera Federle is noted as "a true professional, who will not compromise quality".
